Mail Archiver

Moth Software grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Mail Archiver X under the terms and conditions stated in this agreement. Use of Mail Archiver indicates your agreement to the following terms and conditions.

Standard Version of Mail Archiver X

A Standard license covers one person. You may use Mail Archiver on your personal computers to archive any number of email addresses and IMAP accounts used for your own correspondence.

Each additional person whose mailbox you archive requires a separate license, including family members and coworkers. This applies even if you own the computers, pay for the email accounts, or are the only person who controls their passwords or operates Mail Archiver.

Support covers archives stored locally on your computers. Cloud storage is not supported.

Starting with version 7 a licensed user is entitled to any updates and/or new versions, free of charge, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Let's say you buy a license on 22-Mar-2026. You will have access to a version that becomes available at 1-Mar-2027. On 23-Mar-2027 this version will continue to work. If I release a new version at 1-Apr-2027 and you install this new version then Mail Archiver will revert back to trial mode and you will be able to buy a license update. If you don't install the new version then your existing, legacy version will continue to work until unsupported by the operating system.

EasyVersion of Mail Archiver X

An Easy license covers one person. You may use Mail Archiver on your personal computers to archive any number of email addresses and IMAP accounts used for your own correspondence.

Receiving emails from other people in your own mailbox does not mean those people need a license.

Support covers archives stored locally on your computers. Cloud storage is not supported.

Mail Archiver X Pro (workgroup version)

You may use Mail Archiver for all users in your organisation. The server supports up to 5 concurrent users. A license is valid for one year. You need a subscription to continue to archive emails. Without a current license the application reverts to trial mode.

Mail Archiver X Pro (single user version)

You can use Mail Archiver on your personal computers, effortlessly archiving as many email addresses and IMAP accounts as you wish - as long as they belong to you. You can store your archive in the network. Only one user can access the archive from multiple locations at the same time. A license is valid for one year. You need a subscription to continue to archive emails. Without a current license the application reverts to trial mode.

You may not:

1. Make copies of Mail Archiver X or of the user manual in whole or in part except as expressly provided for in this agreement. Your right to copy Mail Archiver X and the user manual is limited by copyright law.

2. Make alterations or modifications to Mail Archiver X or disassemble or de-compile Mail Archiver X, or attempt to discover the source code of Mail Archiver X.

3. Sub-license, lease, lend, rent, or grant other rights in all or any portion of Mail Archiver X to others.

4. Archive emails for other people except as permitted by the license terms above or a separate affiliate agreement.

MAX Messages

Moth Software grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use MAX Messages under the terms and conditions stated in this agreement. Use of MAX Messages indicates your agreement to the following terms and conditions.

A MAX Messages license covers one person. You may use MAX Messages on your personal computers to archive any number of conversations and message histories from accounts used for your own correspondence.

Each additional person whose message accounts you archive requires a separate license, including family members and coworkers. This applies even if you own the computers, pay for the message accounts, or are the only person who controls their passwords or operates MAX Messages.

Support covers archives stored locally on your computers. Cloud storage is not supported.

A licensed user is entitled to any updates and/or new versions, free of charge, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
